Rapid help with reading and writing difficulties/dyslexia

with the Nicolay – Reading/Writing - Method^®

With the help of the Nicolay – Reading/Writing - Method^© over the past 15 years I have helped thousands of children with reading and writing difficulties (RWD) or dyslexia to correct spelling and fluent, fault-free reading in both German and foreign languages. Helping concentration and raising self-esteem are core components of this holistic method. In additions solutions can be found where mental disadvantages prevent learning success. What is learned can be applied successfully in other school subjects. The therapy period for both dyslexia and reading and writing difficulties are drastically reduced.

Helping to help oneself
A parent or learning partner is actively involved in the individual learning sessions and receives practical guidance to continue and achieve success at home without external help. In order to do so no specific educational background is necessary. You do not even to be absolutely competent in writing.

Costs:
One-to-one sessions €80/hour. Special prices are available for socially disadvantaged and Socially active institutions.

How often
Most children require three to five individual sessions with H. D. Nicolay; with other therapists using the Nicolay-Reading/Writing – Method children require between three and ten sessions, as a rule. The first two units take place in the same week. After eight to ten weeks good writing and fault-free reading can be accomplished in English or any foreign language. After the first three individual sessions the decision is made if further sessions are necessary. IN certain three an additional two to three family consultations may be necessary to balance family disharmonies which are hindering learning progress. Prevent Reading/Writing difficulties and dyslexia
The book “Das Legasthenie Märchen” is a practical guide and “Help to help yourself”. It shows how parents, teachers and therapists in dyslexia can coach children who have reading and writing difficulties or who are dyslexic so that they can read and write correctly. Pre-school children and children at primary school can be helped effectively to avoid difficulties in reading and writing,
